Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 文化芸術を表象という観点から理解することを目指します。表象とは，心または意識に現前するものを意味し，それは具体的には，文字・画像・音声などを通して現れた形・姿のことです。つまり，美術・文学・音楽・映画など様々な作品はもちろん，文字・画像・音声などの媒体も本科目の対象となります。さらに，その表象が，時代・社会や文化との関係の中で，どのように表現され，また，どのように感受されたのか，といった問題についても考察していきます。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | The goal of this course is to understand culture and art from the perspective of representation. “Representation” means something that is present in the mind or consciousness; specifically, it is the shape or figure that appears through letters, images, sounds, etc. Therefore, not only various works of art, literature, music, and films, but also media such as letters, images, and sounds are the target of this course. We will also examine how these representations have been expressed and received in relation to the times, society and culture. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | In Central Asia, where various ethnic groups have played an active role throughout its long history, how do people perceive the history and culture of the past?
