Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | In this course, students will not simply memorize the events of the past, but will learn the academic procedures for re-creating the human past from historical documents, and the historical thinking that considers why the events occurred and what they meant. Through this learning, students will acquire the habit of relativizing the world and the era in which they live, and considering them in a wider frame of reference. |

Message from the Instructor | | 私たちは普段は天皇という存在をそれほど気にすることはないかもしれません。しかし、なぜそういった存在がいるのか、なぜみんながその存在を知っているのか、ぜひこの授業で考えてみてください。
担当教員は、文学部・人文学研究科で日本近現代史を教育研究しています。自身の研究テーマを話すことで、受講生のみなさんに歴史学について興味を持ってもらうこと、現代社会に関心を持ってもらうことをこの授業の目標に掲げたいと思います。
できるだけわかりやすくお話しするように心がけますので、みなさんの積極的な参加をお待ちしています！ |
