Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | ジェンダーとはなにか，女らしさや男らしさとは何でしょうか。LGBT等の多様性を尊重し，包摂した社会にするには，どうすればよいでしょうか。授業では，性別によらず人が輝ける社会をつくるためのジェンダー平等の重要性を考えるとともに，ジェンダーの視点を通して政治，経済，教育，就活，婚活，少子化，子育てなどのさまざまな問題を考えます。本授業の目的は，1）ジェンダー研究の基本的な概念を理解すること，2）日本およびグローバル社会におけるさまざまなジェンダー問題について理解を深めること，3）多様な立場や側面から物事を捉え，ジェンダー平等を推進するための行動につなげることです。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | What is gender? what is femininity and masculinity? How can we create a society that respects and includes diversity such as LGBTQ? Throughout the course, we will consider the importance of gender equality in order to create a society where people can shine regardless of their gender, as well as various issues such as politics, economics, education, job hunting, marriage, declining birthrates, and child rearing from gender perspectives. The goals of this course are 1) to introduce students to the basic concepts of gender studies, 2) to deepen students’ understanding of a wide variety of gender issues in Japan and global society, 3) to encourage students to think from diversified standpoints and to take action to promote gender equality. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | By the end of this course, students should be able to: 1) understand basic concepts of gender and analyze various gender issues in Japan and global society; 2) approach contemporary affairs from multiple perspectives and hopefully, take action to promote gender equality; and 3) enhance their research skills on gender-related issues; and 4) effectively communicate their research findings through research papers. |
