Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 本講義を通して，現代社会が抱える諸問題に対して，教育が果たす役割や考える必要のある事柄，あるいは期待されていることについて追究することを目的とします。受講者の表面的な理解に留まることがないよう，学校教育のためのマネジメントや内容・方法，家庭・地域社会・職業生活等の人間形成やそれを支える歴史や教育システム，教育に関わる哲学・社会学・人類学など，授業者の専門に関連付けたトピックスを取り上げて，これまでに学んできたことの意義を再確認したり，今後学ぶこと／教えることの責任や意義を認識したりすることを支援します。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Through this lecture, we aim to pursue the role that education plays, the matters that need to be considered, and what is expected of it in response to the various problems facing modern society. In order to prevent participants from having only a superficial understanding of the subject matter, topics related to the class instructor's specialty, such as management, content, and methods for school education; human development and the history and educational systems that support it, including family, community, and professional life; and philosophy, sociology, and anthropology related to education, will be covered to help students reconfirm the significance of what they have learned so far and recognize the responsibility and significance of learning/teaching in the future. |

・大学論に関する重要概念について、自ら適切に説明することができる。
・今日の大学が抱える問題について、自分とは異なる立場からの見解も踏まえた上で、自らの考えを深め、その成果を説明することができる。
・今日の大学が抱える問題について、授業で得た知識と、授業内での議論を踏まえた上で、より発展的な探究課題を各人が設定することができる。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | In this course, the objectives are to develop the following abilities:
・To be able to explain key concepts related to the study of universities appropriately and in one’s own words.
・To deepen one’s own understanding of the issues facing universities today by also considering perspectives different from one’s own, and to be able to articulate the outcomes of that process.
・To be able to formulate more advanced research questions on contemporary university issues, based on the knowledge acquired in the course and the discussions held in class. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 各回の授業での議論への参加（50％）と、各回の授業での問いに対する回答の提出（50％）に基づいて総合的に評価します。履修取り下げの際は申し出ること。なお、履修取り下げの申し出がなく、上記の基準に基づく総合評価の得点が６割に満たない場合は「W」とします。 |
