Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 文明の進化，科学技術の発展とともに，人間をとりまく環境はますます複雑になっています。人間の活動により自然環境の改変・破壊が進み，地球の温暖化をはじめとする数々の環境問題を生じさせる一方で，社会生活が多様化，複雑化することにより，社会環境も複雑化・不透明化しています。本講義では，自然及び社会の両面にわたる環境諸問題を環境学の視点から学びます。環境という包括的なキーワードにより複合的に眺め，安全で安心，かつ文化的に豊かで持続可能な地球・都市・社会について考えることを目的とします。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | With advances in civilization and developments in science and technology, the environment in which people live is becoming increasingly complex. Just as various environmental problems such as global warming have arisen due to continuing degradation and destruction of the natural environment as a result of human activity, the societal environment has also become more complex and opaque due to increasing diversity and complexity of our social lives. In this course, we will study various environmental problems, covering both natural and social problems, from the perspective of environmental studies. Our aim is to think about maintaining sustainability on the Earth, in our cities, and in our societies, and how to ensure that they are safe, secure, and rich with culture by taking a multi-faceted view of these issues using the overarching theme of environment. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | By looking at and examining the problems of an urban environment that surrounds us and the various problems of daily urban life from multiple perspectives, students will develop the ability to think about the future of the urban environment and its creation. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content or Plan | | 指定した教科書の各章を手がかりに、講義を組み立てていく。
私たちの日常生活の器となる建築や都市、すなわち都市環境を通じて、私たちを取り巻く社会や環境のありようや諸課題を講義するが、建築や都市を専門としない学生でも十分に理解でき、また授業の達成目標に沿った講義を行う。

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 授業内レポートと期末試験の総合点が60点以上の場合、合格とする。
成績評価基準は 『全学教 科目の履修の手引き』を参照。
なお、履修取り下げに関して，履修取り下げの申し出は不要である。授業内レポートの未提出（原則3回以上）と期末試験を欠席した場合、評価は「W」とする。授業内レポートと期末試験の詳細は、授業において説明する。 |
