Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Mathematics has become an integral part of the language and method of modern science. The most basic of these are calculus and linear algebra. The goal of this course is to understand the basics of linear algebra. In particular, you will be familiar with coordinate geometry, handling matrices, and solving simultaneous linear equations. Here, we emphasize understanding associated with geometric and spatial images and the relationship with algebraic and differential equation theories and statistics. |

Message from the Instructor | | 本講義では，ベクトル空間とは何か，ベクトルの集団の一次独立性と一次従属性とは何か，ベクトル空間の基底とは何か，
ベクトル空間の次元とは何か，と言った線形代数の基本概念から始めて，これらの概念を表現したり計算する手段として
規定とそれに付随する座標系を導入する．その上で線型写像の概念を導入し，行列による表現，行列の簡約化から自然に
線型写像の核と像の概念とその計算に滑らかに繋げていく．通常の線形代数の講義では計算から概念へ，という順序
をとるが，この講義では，概念から入ってスムーズに計算につなげるという順序に入れ替える．だから最初のうちは
式より文章が多いという意味で，国語化された線形代数と言えると思う． |
