授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | In this class we employ a topic-based syllabus. We are aiming to strengthen the vocabulary, grammar, and communicative skills through learning deeper about selected aspects of Japanese society and culture.
Each of the participants will be invited to bring in or will be introduced by the instructor to reading materials (e.g. a chapter from Japanese language textbooks, a news article, an advertisement poster, a research paper abstract, etc.) in accordance with their current level of Japanese language proficiency and the scope of interests.
Students will be invited to introduce the materials of their choice in class. Based on the introduction, all the participants will be invited to join group discussions or group projects related to the topic. Sample topics for in-class presentations are Preparing a 旅のしおり brochure, Translation of a room posting and introducing your ideal room to live in, Introducing your home country to Japanese elementary school students, etc.

- 日本の美意識
- 日本の伝統文化とポップカルチャー
Please note that the topics are tentative and will be customized to fit participants’ interests.
