到達目標 【英語】 Objectives of the Course | | At the end of this course, participants are expected to:
- be able to obtain skills in skimming and scanning
- be able to read and understand columns and essays in newspaper articles on social science.
- be able to read and understand reading material about social thought.
- be able to articulate his/her point of view about social issues while making connections to related matters.
- be able to obtain pain points of articles and write summaries in Japanese
- be able to paraphrase sentences in Japanese |

2. Reading and understanding materials about problems related to research misconduct
3. Obtaining the main points of articles
4. Writing summaries in Japanese
5. Peer evaluating summaries
6. Practising paraphrasing sentences in Japanese

Week 2 2025/4/21 ①reading an article regarding academic plagiarism, understanding the main points, paragraph and sentence structures, sequence and cohesion.
Week 3 2025/4/28 Picking up keywords, understanding a structure and writing a summary.

履修条件・関連する科目 Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | Students who received an Exemption of Japanese language course in an International and exchange center are under-qualified to sign up for this course.
Students require at least Japanese proficiency level N2. |

To pass,
Students must participate and actively express what they have understood in class and their thoughts on the topics.
In the final examination, students must show their understanding of the article's main points and paraphrasing skills. |
