授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)

従来の高等学校までの教育とは異なり、本講義では、不確実かつ複雑なデータ群を整理し体系化する能力を養うことを目的とする。そのため、確立された知識の暗記に偏らず、自ら情報を整理する能力を重視する。具体的には、英語で書かれた原著論文の内容を理解するために必要な情報収集、批判的思考、そして自身の言葉で他者にわかりやすく説明する能力を訓練する。その過程において、大規模言語モデル（LLM）を活用した効率的なアプローチについても学ぶ。さらに、他者の発表内容を自身の理解の枠組みに組み込み、不明点を明確に質問する能力、そして他者を適切に評価する能力を育成する。

Goals of the Course

Unlike traditional high school education, this course aims to develop the ability to organize and systematize uncertain and complex data sets. For this reason, we emphasize the ability to organize information independently, rather than memorizing established knowledge. Specifically, we train students to collect information necessary to understand the content of original research papers written in English, to think critically, and to explain clearly to others in their own words. In the process, students will also learn efficient approaches using Large Language Models (LLMs). Furthermore, this course cultivates the ability to incorporate the content of others' presentations into their own framework of understanding, to clearly ask questions about unclear points, and to appropriately evaluate others.

This course will equip students with the skills to independently investigate a topic by locating relevant research papers, interpreting their content, and presenting the information clearly to a wider audience.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

本授業は、２名の講師によって行われます。基本的には、英語で書かれた原著論文、あるいは高度な問題が与えられ、それに対して各生徒がその課題に取り組み、それぞれの課題について、様々なツールを用いて発表を行います。発表後に、十分な時間をとって、他の生徒からの質問に対してわかりやすく回答できるか、問題点を整理できているかを一緒に考えながらすすめていきます。更に、問題を明確にするためにはどんな要素が必要なのかを考えて、与えられた課題を発展させる方法へとつながるように工夫します。
