Goals of the Course(JPN)
この講義では、幾何学の基本的な概念を学ぶ。具体的には、3次元ユークリッド空間における曲線や曲面の性質を理解するための方法を学ぶ。曲線や曲面について、外からの視点（外在的視点）と、曲線や曲面自体が持つ特徴（内在的視点）をそれぞれ学ぶことで、現代幾何学の基礎的な考え方を身につける。

Goals of the Course
This course provides an introduction to the basic geometry. Students will learn methods for studying the properties of curves and surfaces in 3-dimensional Euclidean space. Through examining these curves and surfaces from both external (extrinsic) and internal (intrinsic) perspectives, students will gain a foundational understanding of modern geometry.

3次元ユークリッド空間における曲線や曲面の基礎知識を習得し、最終的には「ガウスの驚異の定理」および「ガウス・ボンネの定理」を理解する。

Acquire basic knowledge of curves and surfaces in 3-dimensional Euclidean space, and understand the "Gauss's Theorema Egregium" and the "Gauss-Bonnet theorem."
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
曲面・曲面の定義、曲面上の測量（第一基本形式）、外側から見た曲面の曲がり（第二基本形式）、ガウス曲率、ガウスの驚異の定理、測地線、ガウスボンネの定理を順に学ぶ。
履修条件
Course Prerequisites
線形代数、微分積分、位相空間の基礎を必要とする。3年生以上対象科目。

期末試験に欠席した場合のみ欠席とする。
