本講義では、現代調和解析の諸テーマを扱い、特にフーリエ制限予想と掛谷予想に焦点を当てる。これらの予想を紹介し、相互の関係についても学ぶ。

Goals of the Course
These lectures will cover topics in modern harmonic analysis with a focus on the Fourier restriction conjecture and Kakeya conjecture. We will give an introduction to these conjectures and also learn about the connection between them.

フーリエ制限予想および掛谷予想、その背景、および相互の関係を深く理解すること。特に、これらの予想の二次元の場合における証明を理解することを目指す。

Objectives of the Course
To deeply understand the Fourier restriction and Kakeya conjectures, their background, and the relationship between them. In particular, one main aim is to understand proofs of both conjectures in the two dimensional case.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
講義の進度に合わせて、予定の変更がありうる。

1. 掛谷予想
Minkowski次元、Cantor集合、掛谷集合、集合的掛谷予想、掛谷極大予想、二次元の掛谷予想の証明

2. フーリエ制限予想
フーリエ変換の基礎、L^p空間、フーリエ制限予想、双線形フーリエ制限予想、二次元のフーリエ制限予想の証明

3. 相互の関係
Khinchinの不等式、フーリエ制限予想ならば掛谷予想
履修条件
Course Prerequisites
ルベーグ積分、関数解析は履修していることが望ましい。
