Goals of the Course | | | This advanced seminar in cinema and media studies employs interdisciplinary frameworks and methodologies. We use our biweekly gatherings to reconsider how to decolonize and decenter our ways of thinking and knowledge production, fostering dialogue with global South studies and globalization studies. We encourage every participant to develop an original research project by the end of the semester. |

Course Content / Plan | | | This seminar follows a biweekly format, combining readings, discussions, and presentations to critically engage with the themes of gender and sexuality, in relation to cinema and media studies. A detailed course plan will be shared during the introductory meeting in the first week. |
