Goals of the Course
The aim of this course is for students to learn the methodologies of academic research, develop the writing skills necessary to communicate their own research ideas, and improve critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate research. At the end of the course, students will be able to clearly explain the structure and design of academic research. Students will also be able to design a simple research plan and communicate that plan orally and in writing.
