授業の目的 【日本語】 Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 本科目は、日本とヨーロッパ(EU)における民法の在り方に関するものである。本科目は、次の3つの部によって構成されている。第1部:日本における民法、第2部:EUにおける民法、第3部:受講生による報告。第1部と第2部では、それぞれの分野の概要を紹介する。その際、日本の裁判所および欧州連合司法裁判所(CJEU)の関連する主な判例にも触れる。第3部では、受講生が、第1部と第2部で取り扱った内容に関連するトピック(あるいは、受講生が関心を持っている、民法に関するトピック)について英語で報告する。本科目は、民法について研究することまたは国際取引にかかわる職業に就くことを希望する大学院生、ならびに、比較法的な観点から自国の法および日本法に対する知識を深めることを望む大学院生にとって特に意義があるものと思われる。

授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | "This course focuses on both Japanese and European (EU) civil law, structured into three main parts: (I) Civil Law in Japan, (II) Civil Law in the EU, and (III) Student Presentations.
In Parts I and II, key topics will be introduced, along with an examination of significant case law from Japanese courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).
In Part III, students will present on selected topics related to the material covered in Parts I and II, or on any other civil law topic of personal interest.
This course is valuable for students pursuing research in civil law or those planning to work in roles involving international transactions. It also provides an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of their own national legal systems, as well as Japanese law, through a comparative lens."
