生命科学および創薬化学の基本的かつ最新の知識を学ぶ。具体的な研究例を採り上げ，実際の研究で用いられる実験技術なども織り込んで解説する。

The course provides basic and up-to-date knowledge of life sciences and drug discovery chemistry.Specific examples of research will be taken up and the experimental techniques used in actual research will be incorporated in the lectures.

この授業では、受講者が授業終了時に、以下の知識・能力を身につけていることを目標とする。
１．生命科学や医薬品開発において利用されている遺伝子発現制御法や人工生体分子の分子設計指針・利用法を説明できる。
２．生命現象を有機化学・熱力学の観点から説明できる。

Objectives of the Course

In this course, students should be able to acquire the following knowledge and abilities at the end of the course.
To be able to explain the molecular design guidelines and applications of gene expression control methods and artificial biomolecules used in the life sciences and drug development.
2. To be able to explain life phenomena from the viewpoints of organic chemistry and thermodynamics.

２.　タンパク質発現制御法 Protein production method
３.　人工生体分子の利用法 How to use artificial biological molecule
４.　核酸医薬　oligonucleotide therapeutics
５.　ｍRNA医薬 mRNA therapeutics
６. 抗ウイルス薬 anti-virus drug

Course Prerequisites

学部の生物化学I，生物化学IIを履修していることが望ましい
The half part of this course will be taught in Japanese.　　　　

物質・生命化学領域の研究室に所属する博士前期課程学生は、「コア無機化学」、「コア有機化学」、「コア物理化学」、「コア生物化学」の中から2つ以上の科目を履修すること。
