授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This course is designed for graduate students aiming to systematically learn the essential features of both basic and advanced organic chemistry. The course aims to understand the intellectual roots of organic chemistry and organometallics under the specific topics selectively chosen for the respective classes and develop the appreciated knowledge of organic molecular structures, characterizations, preparations, and reactivities, as well as the corresponding reaction sequences. Students are able to solve progressive problems in the respective topics. |

成績評価の方法と基準【日本語】 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | |
|
成績評価の方法と基準【英語】 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | ・Grades will be based on the assessment of reports (60%) and presentation (40%). Credits will be awarded to those students who score 60 or more.
・Submission of the "Course Withdrawal Request Form is necessary to withdraw from the course. The student needs to contact the course instructor when the student wants to withdraw from the course. No submission of sickness/absence reports and lack of attendance score will result in an 'F' grade: It is for the protection of other attendances in the corresponding course from the frequent absences of the specific/uncertain student(s). |

|
授業時間外学習の指示【英語】 Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours | | ・Students are recommended to prepare each lecture by reading the corresponding chapters in the textbook and reviewing it by solving the related homework questions. NU general guideline considers the necessity of the average of 2~3 hours of personal study time per week for each credit.
・Students are recommended to review the lectures by solving the related homework questions. Each assignment is due by the start of the next class if it is not specially announced. Late or no assignment submission is the deduction point of the grade. |
