Students will learn who the actors in development cooperation are, the development issues they face, and how they address these issues. Building on this foundation, we will select a specific development issue and make your own proposals aimed at benefiting rural residents in developing countries, or urban consumers. |

日本のODA事業を事例とし、開発協力にはどのようなアクターが関わっているのか、どのような開発課題があるのか、それぞれの開発課題にどのようなアプローチで取り組んでいるのかを理解します。そして、現場での具体的な取り組みを説明できるようになることを前半の目標とします。
後半の学習目標:
「持続可能なフードシステムの構築」という開発課題を取り上げ、事業者の営利追求だけでなく、農村住民や都市部の消費者にも利益をもたらすフードシステムとなるための留意点を学びます。後半では、開発援助機関がフードシステムに介入する際の具体的な戦略を提案できることを目標とします。 |

到達目標 【英語】 Objectives of the Course | | Learning Objectives for the First Half:
The first goal is to understand which actors are involved in development activities, what development issues exist, and how each issue is being addressed by examining the case of Japan's ODA projects. In addition, students will be able to explain concrete initiatives being implemented on the ground.
Learning Objectives for the Second Half:
We will address the development issue of 'building a sustainable food system,' exploring key considerations for creating food systems that not only pursue business profitability but also benefit rural residents and urban consumers. The second goal is to propose concreate strategies for development agencies to effectively intervene in food systems. |
