By learning nonarchimedean geometry, students will be exposed to highly specialized topics that are suitable for the master's program.

非アルキメデス的付値に慣れる。ベルコビッチ解析空間の基礎事項を身に着け、その位相空間としての性質に慣れる。トロピカル幾何の基礎事項や、ベルコビッチ解析空間のトロピカル化の概念を身に着ける。

Objectives of the Course
To get used to nonarchimedean valuations. To understand the basics of Berkovich analytic spaces and to get used to the topology of them. To understand the basics of tropical geometry and the notion of tropicalization of Berkovich analytic spaces.

講義計画は次の通り。
第1回　非アルキメデス的付値体上の代数多様体のトロピカル化
第2回　バナッハ代数
第3回　ベルコビッチ解析空間
第4回　非アルキメデス的付値体上のアーベル多様体
第5回　アーベル多様体の標準骨格とトロピカル化
第6回　アーベル多様体に対する忠実トロピカル化問題

Plan of the lectures:
1. Tropicalization of algebraic varieties over nonarchimedean fields
2. Banach algebras
3. Berkovich analytic spaces
4. Abelian varieties over nonarchimedean fields
5. Skeletons of abelian varieties and tropicalization
6. Faithful tropicalization problem for abelian varieties

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
1回のレポート課題で成績評価する。非アルキメデス的幾何の基礎概念の扱いを問う問題を講義中に出すので、その解答をレポートとして提出すること。詳細は講義時に説明する。
