授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | １「いま、日本の都市はどのような危機に直面しているのか？」
・人口減少、超高齢化、インフラ老朽化、災害脆弱性、そしてパリ協定対応
２「なぜこのような都市になったのか？」
・都市形成と交通網整備の経緯とその仕組み、土地利用・交通計画の構造
３「都市政策を考えるために何を知っておかなければならないか？」
・マクロ・ミクロ経済学、財政学、費用便益分析、財務諸表、借金と割引率
４「日本の都市をどのように変えていく必要があるか？」
・コンパクトプラスネットワーク、ライフサイクル思考
５「そのために制度をどう変えていく必要があるか？」
・土地利用・交通計画、税制、公共事業評価、合意形成
６ 最終発表会
・持続可能な都市・地域のための方策についての調査・報告
毎回の授業前に前回の復習をしておくこと。講義においては板書のみならず話した内容のうち重要と思われる点をノートに書き留めること。数回のレポート課題を課すので、必ず提出すること。最終発表会は９月頃実施するので必ず出席すること。

- Population decline, hyper-aging, aging infrastructure, vulnerability by disasters, and response to the Paris Agreement
2. "Why did the city become present situation?"
- The history and mechanisms of urban formation and transport network improvement, structure of land use and transport planning
3. "What should we know to consider urban policy?"
- Macro and micro economics, finance, cost-benefit analysis, financial statements, debt and discount rate
4. "How should we change Japanese cities?"
- Compact plus network, life cycle thinking
5. "How should we change the system to achieve it?"
- Land use and transport planning, tax system, public works evaluation, consensus building
6. Final presentation
- Research and reports on measures for sustainable cities and regions
For foreign students (including NUGELP program) who cannot understand Japanese, special program is prepared. Seminar of urban structure, planning and environment and lecture of Nagoya's urban planning. Detail contents will be explained in the first class. |

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | レポート（50%、毎回、簡単な内容を出す）、最終発表会における課題発表（50%）
持続可能な都市を形成するための都市計画・,マネジメントのあり方について理解し説明できることが合格の条件である。
※最終発表会は例年、9月下旬に開催しています
【2020年度以降入学者】
合格 A+: 95点以上、 A: 80～94点、 B: 70～79点、 C: 65～69点、C-: 60～64点
不合格 F: 59点以下、W: 取り下げまたは欠席
【2019年度以前入学者】
合格 A: 80点以上、 B: 70～79点、 C: 60～69点
不合格 D: 59点以下、 欠: 欠席 | Reports(50%) and Final Presentation(50%)
Passed applicants must understand and explain the ideal way of urban planning and management to form a sustainable city.
