授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 自身の専門性を生かして社会で活躍する、もしくは社会課題を解決するような研究プロジェクトを実行するには、異分野の専門家とともに協働する力（異分野コラボレーションスキル）が必須である。本科目では、「異分野コラボレーションスキル演習Ⅰ」で提案されたプロジェクト案（名古屋大学大学院生の研究活動をより充実させるための方策）をもとに、実際にプロジェクトを実施する。プロジェクト遂行に当たっては、授業参加者全員を1つ（もしくはいくつか）のプロジェクトチームであると捉え、各自の専門スキルや特技を生かし役割分担する。プロジェクト遂行後には、振り返りを行い、実践を通して各自の学びを明確化する。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | The ability to collaborate with experts in different fields (interdisciplinary collaboration skills) is essential to be active in society using one's own expertise or to carry out research projects that solve social issues. In this course, we will actually implement projects based on the project proposals (project to enhance the research activities of Nagoya University graduate students) made in "Interdisciplinary Collaboration Skills I". In carrying out the project, all class participants will be considered as one (or several) project team(s), and will share the roles and responsibilities by utilizing their own specialized skills and specialties. After the project is completed, students will reflect on the project and clarify what they have learned through practice. |

注意事項
Notice for Students | | 授業は基本的に英語で行いますが、日本人教員が複数人でサポートし、講義も理解しやすいようスライドを用意しますので、英語力に自信がない学生も参加してください。チームワーク中は日本語と英語、その他の言語を状況に応じてうまく使い分けてください。実践的な英語力を訓練したい学生におすすめです。もちろん、日本語が話せない留学生も歓迎いたします。
参加者の「異分野コラボレーションスキル演習Ⅰ」の履修状況によっては、プロジェクト提案を目標とした内容に変える可能性があります。
Classes will basically be conducted in English, but several Japanese faculty members will support the students and lectures will be delivered with slides for easy understanding, so students who are not confident in their English ability are encouraged to participate. During teamwork, please use Japanese, English, and other languages as appropriate for the situation. This course is recommended for students who want to train their practical English skills. Of course, international students who do not speak Japanese are also welcome.
If participants have not taken "Interdisciplinary Collaboration Skills I" in the same academic year,
in this class, students will propose a new project as a team with students from different fields
similarly to "Interdisciplinary Collaboration Skills I". |

Message from the Instructor | | 科学技術が高度化した現代においては、アカデミアで研究を続けるにしろ、社会で活躍するにしろ、異分野の専門家と協働するスキルは必須になります。しかし、研究室で研究活動を行っているだけでは、なかなか異分野の専門家と協働する機会は得られません。本授業を通じて、異分野の専門家と協働することの難しさ、そして楽しさを味わってもらいたいと思います。また、プロジェクトの課題を「名古屋大学大学院生の研究活動をより充実させるためには」という、みなさんにとって身近なテーマに設定しています。自由な発想で自身の専門をどのように活かせるか考えてみてください。失敗しても良い環境で思いっきりチャレンジしてください。
In today's world of advanced science and technology, whether you are continuing your research in academia or working in society, it is essential to have the skills to collaborate with experts in different fields. However, it is not easy to get opportunities to collaborate with experts in different fields just by conducting research activities in your own laboratory. Through this class, I would like students to experience the difficulties and joys of collaborating with experts from different fields. In addition, we have set the theme of the project as "How can we enrich the research activities of Nagoya University graduate students? We encourage you to think freely about how you can make the most of your own expertise. Please challenge yourself with all your might in an environment where it is okay to fail. |
