Goals of the Course [JPN]

少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]

This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]

・社会保障の専門研究者が著した一般書の輪読を通じて、「専門研究者の視点」を体得し、また自らの問題意識を醸成する体験をする
・ゼミ形式での報告を通じて、レジュメの書き方、報告の要領などを習得する
・アカデミックな議論において積極的に発言を行うことに慣熟する

Objectives of the Course [ENG]

・To Gain insight into the perspective of specialized researchers and cultivate your own critical awareness through group reading of a general-interest book authored by a social security expert
・To master resume writing and presentation techniques through seminar-style discussions
・To become accustomed to actively participating in academic discussions

　高校の社会科の知識を前提とする。なお、詳細な知識を求めるのではなく、大まかに要点が理解されていれば十分である。

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria

プレゼンテーションの内容・質（30％）、演習授業での議論への積極的参加・貢献（30％）、期末レポート（40％）。【授業の達成目標】に記載した内容が達成されることを合格の基準とします。
