Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 森林は私たちの生活と密接にかかわっています。二酸化炭素を吸収し酸素を供給してくれます。洪水や土砂流出を緩和してくれます。さらに、住んでいる家の一部に使われたり、紙の原料やバイオマス発電の原料になったりもします。そして、それらを生産する地域の人々の生活の糧となります。この森林という題材を異なる背景を持つ皆さんの異なる視点で考えることによって、１）身近だけれど意外と知らないトピックについて、学問的に見ることができるようになること、２）自身の視点と他の人の視点の違いを理解し、なぜ違うのかも理解することができるようになること、３）調べたこと、議論したことをもとに、人にわかりやすく報告することができるようになることを目指します。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | Forests are closely connected to our lives. It absorbs carbon dioxide and supplies oxygen. It alleviates flooding and landslides. Furthermore, it can be used in parts of your home, raw material for paper, and raw material for biomass power generation. In turn, they become a source of livelihood for the people in the regions where they are produced. By thinking about the subject of forests from the different perspectives of people with different backgrounds, this class aims to 1) be able to look at topics that are familiar but surprisingly unknown to us from an academic perspective, 2) be able to understand the differences between our own perspectives and those of others, and understand why they are different, and 3) be able to report on what we have researched and discussed in an easy-to-understand manner to others. |

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 授業での発言や最終プレゼンテーションをもとに総合的に評価する。【授業の達成目標】に記載した内容が達成されることを合格の基準とします。
履修取り下げの際は申し出が必要。申し出がないままテーマ報告やプレゼンテーションの回を欠席している場合、評価は「F」とします。 |
