Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is designed to develop the basic skills that are essential for the egg of a scientist. Beginning with how to research literature on the Internet and in the library, students will acquire the ability to consider and examine, to summarize their research and considerations, and to make persuasive presentations and discussions. |

Course Content or Plan | | セミナーのテーマ： 科学的視点から議論する東洋医学
本セミナーは次の要領で講義を進める。
１、自己紹介（教員、ＴＡ、学生）と本セミナーのガイダンス
２、ワークショップ：「科学」と「東洋医学」の接点。教員の東洋医学に関する研究紹介
３、テーマを決めよう：標記テーマと関連する研究課題を決定
４、ワークショップ：データ収集法（図書検索やインターネット検索の方法を学ぶ）
５、ワークショップ：発表方法（ＰＣプレゼンテーションによる発表スライド作成を
学ぶ）
６、フィールドワーク：各自による調査研究およびプレゼン準備
７、研究発表会：各グループによる研究発表と討論 |

Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | 本セミナーでは、興味をもった事柄に対する自立的学習能力を養うことを目標の一つに置いているため、「東洋医学に肯定的批判的問わず多少でも興味があること」を履修条件としたい。また、授業に対する積極的な姿勢も大いに評価対象になることを留意されたい。 |

The main purpose of this lecture is to enhance your ability to research and present your own ideas on issues.
Please keep this in mind.
No prior knowledge of Oriental medicine is required. Both positive and critical presentations are welcome. |
