Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 本講義を通して，現代社会が抱える諸問題に対して，教育が果たす役割や考える必要のある事柄，あるいは期待されていることについて追究することを目的とします。受講者の表面的な理解に留まることがないよう，学校教育のためのマネジメントや内容・方法，家庭・地域社会・職業生活等の人間形成やそれを支える歴史や教育システム，教育に関わる哲学・社会学・人類学など，授業者の専門に関連付けたトピックスを取り上げて，これまでに学んできたことの意義を再確認したり，今後学ぶこと／教えることの責任や意義を認識したりすることを支援します。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Through this lecture, we aim to pursue the role that education plays, the matters that need to be considered, and what is expected of it in response to the various problems facing modern society. In order to prevent participants from having only a superficial understanding of the subject matter, topics related to the class instructor's specialty, such as management, content, and methods for school education; human development and the history and educational systems that support it, including family, community, and professional life; and philosophy, sociology, and anthropology related to education, will be covered to help students reconfirm the significance of what they have learned so far and recognize the responsibility and significance of learning/teaching in the future. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | いじめ、「生徒心得」問題、学級崩壊等の様々な学校病理は、複雑な現代社会のあり方と密接に関わっている。本授業では、こうした「学校病理現象」を手がかりに、教育と現代社会の関わりを追究する。
本授業では、次の点を身につけることを目標とする。
１．教育学における基礎的な概念について理解することができる。
２．教育学的な視点から教育事象を分析することができる。
３．教育学に関連するテーマについて、自らの見解を論理的に整理し、他の受講者と議論することができる。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | Various school pathologies such as bullying, school rule problems, and class disruption are closely related to the complex modern society. In this class, we will pursue the relationship between education and modern society, using these "school pathological phenomena" as clues.
The goals of this course are to
(1) understand fundamental concepts in educational studies,
(2) analyze educational phenomena from an educational studies perspective, and
(3) logically organize their own views on topics related to educational studies and discuss them with fellow students. |
