Goals of the Course [ENG]
【Standardized across all programs】 This course is designed for third or fourth year students who start an experience in a specified field. The participants will be required to form a mixed team which contains students having different backgrounds. And each team will set the problem to tackle and try to solve it by working together. Through this active and cooperative experience, the participants are expected to obtain leadership, a spirit of teamwork, open-mindedness and ability to solve problems collectively.

・Understand how diversity and innovation contribute to solving social issues.
・Develop the ability to collaborate with members from different cultural backgrounds and
translate ideas into practical solutions.
・Cultivate flexible thinking and the ability to take action, fostering a proactive approach to
addressing challenges faced by local and global communities.

• Course purpose, meaning and content organization, time schedule (1 hour),
• Introduction to Innovation (2 hours)
• Startup Ecosystem (2 hours)
• Introduction to Diversity (2 hours)
• Design thinking (2 hours)
• Recognizing Opportunities, Generating Ideas and its Feasibility Analysis (2 hours)
• Idea / Business Model Workshop and Presentation (4 hours)
• Value Proposition (1 hour)
• Competitive Strategy (1 hour)
• Business Plan Lecture (1 hour)
• Business plan workshop and Presentation (3 hours)
• Leadership (1 hour)
• Select a form of organization (1 hour)
• Getting Financing or Funding (1 hour)
• Finance Plan Workshop and Presentation (3 hours)
