Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 単に過去の出来事を叙述するのが歴史学ではありません。たしかに歴史学は史料（おもに文献史料）を材料とし，厳密な史料批判や考証を行うことによって人類の過去の足跡，人間という存在の多様性を明らかにしようとします。しかし，同時にそれを通じて自分の生きている時代と世界を相対化し，客観的に見る習慣を身につけることも歴史研究の大きな目的の一つです。その意味で歴史学は激動の現代に生きる人間に必須の教養といえるでしょう。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Study of history is beyond just describing past events. It is true that history has been studied using historical records (mainly historical documents) as materials, and we have tried to clarify the past footprints of mankind and the diversity of the existence of human beings by conducting rigorous criticisms and examinations of historical records. At the same time, it is also one of the most important goals to study history to get into the habit of relativizing the times and the world in which we live and looking objectively through it. In this meaning, study of history is an essential education for us who survive this turbulent modern times. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 歴史史料を丁寧に読解し、高等学校までは既存の「知識」として与えられている事柄が、史料からどのような手続きを経て導き出されているのかを体感する。現代とは無関係な「過去」に対しても鋭く想像力を働かせ、現代人に厳しく求められている「他者」理解へのヒントを得る。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | Students carefully read and comprehend historical materials and experience what procedures are derived from historical materials that are given as existing "knowledge" up to high school. He uses his imagination sharply to deal with the "past" that has nothing to do with the present day, and gets hints for understanding the "others" that are strictly required by modern people. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content or Plan | | 歴史学は過去の出来事や人物についての知識を蓄積するだけの学問ではありません。史料から過去の事実を実証的に導き出し、それについて検討し客観的評価を行ない、歴史的事実がどのように関係しながら進展したのかを解き明かすことにより人間の行動を理解する学問です。
この授業では、日本古代における天皇の宮（内裏）を題材として、様々な史料からどのようにして情報を導き出すのかについて学ぶとともに、史料から導き出された情報の真偽をどのようにして検証するのか、得られた歴史的事実をどのように構築して歴史的進展を解き明かすのか、さらにその社会的背景との関係についてどのように考えるのか、などについて具体的に学びます。
また、考古・建築・美術・文化財科学などの関連諸分野の方法を併用することによって、より立体的な理解が可能となることも学びます。
以下は、現時点で扱う予定のテーマです。
１．歴史学における文献史学と関連諸分野、実証主義とその限界
２．天皇の宮（内裏）の基礎知識
３．『古事記』『日本書紀』にみえる天皇の宮
４．『続日本紀』以降の六国史にみえる天皇の宮と内裏
５．飛鳥時代から平安時代までの天皇の宮（内裏）
６．内裏における政務と儀式
７．平安宮内裏の建築
８．宮跡の発掘調査
９． 京都御所
10．宮（内裏）からみた前近代の天皇 |

Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | 日本史史料である古文・漢文の読解意欲を要します。ただし読解力の水準は、高等学校で習った古文・漢文で大丈夫です。講義中に質疑を行なうので指名された場合などは発言する必要があります。 |
