Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 洋の東西を問わず，文学は虚構の世界の出来事や作中人物の言動を通して，人生の本質にかかわる問題や社会の問題を極めてリアルに読者の感性に直接訴えて感動を呼び起こします。読者は共感したり，時に反発したりしながら，過去の人と社会について学び，現在について考え，未来を見通そうとします。教科書掲載作品を中心とし表現の正確な読み取りを重視する高校までと異なり，大学の授業においては様々な文学作品を取り上げ，多様な読解の仕方を学びながら，作品のより深い理解を目指します。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Literature, most often dealing with the real problems of life or society through the description of fictitious characters or events, directly appeals to the mind of readers and inspires strong emotions. It so motivates us to learn about the past, think about the present and see into the future. This course of literature, unlike those in schools where the importance is given to the correct reading of the authorized materials of the textbooks, sees wider range of literary works and offers varied methods of reading, and above all aims at deeper understanding of them. |

日本近現代の短編小説を読む。具体的なテーマは夏目漱石『明暗』。『明暗』を読むことを通して、文学が人や社会や時代と、どのように切り結んできたかを、具体的に学びたい。
