Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 社会的存在である人間の，誕生から死に至る諸相を捉え，そのありようと形成に関わる諸原理とその関連構造について学び，教育とは何かについて考えることを目的とします。現代の教育問題を検討しようとする者，有効な打開策を考えようとする者はもちろん，人間について深い洞察を得ようとする者に，基礎的な手がかりを与えるものです。教育の歴史・哲学・制度・方法などの入門的知見が展開されます。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | The goal of this course is to understand the various aspects of social human beings from birth to death, then to learn the principles of human formation and their relevance, and finally, to think about what education is. This class offers the clews for the basic analytical methods such as how to examine modern educational problems, how to solve problems, how to deepen the insights into human beings. In sum, this course offers introductory insights into the history, philosophy, and institutions of education and teaching methods. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | 本授業を履修することで、学生は、教育学の視点から、社会の中で人がどのように形成され、学び、他者とともに生きていくのかを理解できるようになることを目標とします。あわせて、多文化共生社会において教育が果たす役割や前提について、学校教育を中心に、社会的・歴史的文脈の中で捉え、教育と社会の接続を考察できるようになることを目指します。
また、教育をめぐる現代的課題について、論理的・批判的に考える力を身につけるとともに、講義や対話、グループでの議論を通して、多様な他者の視点に触れながら、自らの学びや価値観を相対化し、他者と協働して考える態度を養うことを目標とします。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | By the end of this course, students will be able to understand education as a field of study that examines how people are shaped, learn, and live with others within society, drawing on key perspectives from educational studies. Students will also be able to examine the role of education in multicultural societies, with a particular focus on school education, and to analyze the connections between education and society within their social and historical contexts.
In addition, students will develop logical and critical thinking skills for addressing contemporary educational issues. Through lectures, dialogue, and group discussions, students will learn to engage with diverse perspectives, to reflect on and relativize their own assumptions about learning and education, and to collaborate with others in exploring educational issues. |

履修条件・関連する科目
Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | 配布した資料を読み、自分の意見や考えを整理したうえで授業に参加することが求められる。授業ではグループディスカッションを多く取り入れるため、事前課題の準備と積極的な参加が必須となる。教育に関する問いには単一の正解が存在しないため、他者との対話を通して多様な視点から考える姿勢を重視する。 |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 授業の参加度（事前課題、授業内でのグループワーク・発言・リフレクション）30％、グループ発表20％、最終レポート50％で評価する。履修取り下げ制度は利用しない。5回以上欠席、または最終レポート未提出の場合はWとする。 |
