英語で書かれた西洋史学の専門書を読むための基礎的な能力を習得し、人間への洞察力を深めるとともに、論理的思考力を身につけます。
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
古代ギリシア・ローマにおける歴史叙述の諸相を独自の視点から描き出したArnaldo Momiglianoの古典的な著作The Classical Foundations of Modern Historiography（1990）を教材とし、この著作のイントロダクション及び第二章を読み、古代ギリシアにおける歴史叙述の起源について理解を深めます。
