授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | | This course is for students completing a senior thesis having taken Prof. Green's seminar. The goal is to assist students in establishing and implementing their research project, and ultimately writing the results. Meetings will be held one-on-one according to a schedule worked out between the professor and student. |

授業の内容や構成 Course Content / Plan | | | Meetings will be arranged on an individual basis between the professor and student. Students should contact the professor at the start of the term in order to work out a mutually agreeable schedule, and they should expect to meet with the professor regularly over the course of the term. |

履修条件・関連する科目 Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | Students enrolling in this class should be graduating fourth year students who have taken Prof. Green's seminar. |

成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | Evaluations are primarily based around assessments of the completed senior thesis. Student efforts, including regular communication with the professor, will also be taken into consideration.
Please refer to the student handbook (i.e., a c grade= 60 above) regarding the standards for obtaining a passing grade in the course. |

教科書・テキスト Textbook | | | No single textbook is assigned but extensive research is expected. Students should be prepared to read quite a bit for this class. |

参考書 Reference Book | | | Additional materials will be provided to students as necessary. |

課外学習等(授業時間外学習の指示) Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours) | | | Because the senior thesis counts for a large number of units the workload for this class is quite a bit higher than other courses. Students should develop and implement a research project over the course of the term. This requires a considerable investment of time outside of the classroom conducting research. |
