Goals of the Course
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and methods of non-cooperative game theory. We will study strategic interactions among rational agents in static and dynamic settings, including repeated games and games with incomplete information. The course is designed to develop analytical and research skills in economics.

By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze equilibria, understand the implications of different solution concepts, and apply game-theoretic reasoning to economic and social problems.

1. Overview
2. Static games of complete information I: Strategic interaction, Nash equilibrium.
3. Static games of complete information II: Mixed strategies.
4. Static games of complete information III: Applications.
5. Quiz 1. Extensive-form games I: Backward induction, subgame perfect equilibrium.
6. Extensive-form games II: Credibility, strategic commitment.
7. Extensive-form games III: Imperfect information, behavioral strategies.
8. Repeated games I: Finite horizon.
9. Quiz 2. Repeated games II: Infinite horizon, reputation.
10. Bargaining games: Finite and infinite horizon bargaining.
11. Bayesian games I: Incomplete information, Bayesian Nash equilibrium
12. Bayesian games II: Signaling games.
13. Quiz 3. Economic applications.
14. Course wrap-up and review
15. Final Exam.
