Goals of the Course
The purpose of this seminar is to apply economic knowledge and insights to modern Japanese macroeconomics and finance, to grasp the socioeconomic problems facing Japan, and to enable students to work on solving them. Following on from Economics Seminar I, students will be divided into groups of two to three people, and will work to improve communication and cooperation skills within and between groups.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Students will be graded based on their group's research and their contributions to seminars. Pass/fail will be determined based on the following criteria. There is no option to withdraw from the course.
(1) Whether the student's group's research achieves the goals outlined above.
(2) Whether students actively participate in presentations and discussions.
