授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course | | | The objective of this seminar is to grasp social and economic problems in Japan from economics viewpoints and to obtain the ability for solving them as a prerequisite for learning management science. For this objective, students develop their ability to conduct an analysis for macroeconomics and public finance and to write a thesis and to give a telling presentation. Following Graduation Thesis Research on Management I, students can make rational and practical decisions subjectively. |

(1) Makes the acquisition of macroeconomic theories more reliable and allow students to see the Japan economy with their own eyes.
(2) Makes students apply the knowledge of economics to public finance, to be able to think about various issues related to Japan's finances on their own. |

履修条件・関連する科目
Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | Based on the regulations of the Faculty of Economics, Nagoya University. In principle, only those who have completed Seminar I and II in Economics approved by the selection process, Special Studies (Graduation Thesis Research on Economics II)(E) and who have acquired the prescribed number of credits are eligible to take the course. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | Grades are evaluated based on students' research and contributions to the exercises. We will make a decision on passing based on the following points. Please note that the course withdrawal system will not be adopted.
(1) Whether the student's research has reached the above goals.
(2) Whether the student has actively given presentations and discussions.
