Goals of the Course(JPN)
Goals of the Course
Superconductivity and magnetism are among the central topics in condensed matter physics.
In particular, phase transitions and quantum phenomena have continued to fascinate researchers in a wide range of fields, from the physics of materials to cosmology.
In this course, the fundamental concepts of superconductivity and magnetism are introduced based on elementary knowledge of electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics.
Students will deepen their understanding of condensed matter physics by exploring recent advances in these fields, the diverse properties of materials and the physics underlying these properties.
Objectives of the Course(JPN))
Objectives of the Course
By the end of this course, students will be able to develop a broad perspective on condensed matter physics through the study of physical phenomena related to superconductivity and magnetism.
