To acquire the skills of the presentation, discussion, and logical thinking in physics.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
Students are required to read an assigned part of a textbook and prepare for presentation on the contents in advance. In the class, students explain their own understanding of the assigned part to other students and discuss it with each other. Students may also make a group to study the textbook.
The textbook used will be the quantum mechanics textbook "Modern Quantum Mechanics (second or third edition) by J.J. Sakurai and Jim Napolitano." Students will be asked to choose and present topics primarily from chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the textbook.
The first class will include a guidance session, during which the schedule and assignments will be decided.

Basic knowledge of quantum mechanics is desired.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Based on presentation and contribution to the active discussion. To receive a passing grade, students must give all presentations which will be assigned at the classes.
不可(F)と欠席(W)の基準
Criteria for "Fail (F)" & "Absent (W)" grades
Class attendance is required. Absentee must give a valid reason. A student who is absent from the class more than four times without a valid reason will be regarded as ABSENT.
