Objectives of the Course
We provide a minimum set of basic experiments on physics which is necessary to learn before entering each subject of research. Through the experiments, students are able to acquire not only basic experimental techniques but also attitudes toward the experimental research and to obtain comprehensive faculty of both knowledge and experimental technique for research of applied physics.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Evaluated by the report on data processing and ten reports on each subject and the oral presentation. A total score of 60/100 or higher is required to pass. Unless there is a very special reason, students must attend all lectures and experiments and submit reports for data processing and all ten experiments. If you do not submit the report by the submission deadline, the point of the experiment shall be zero.

Note carefully that credit will be granted only if both of the following conditions are satisfied:

Attendance: Students must attend all experiments, lectures, and the presentation session. A single absence will result in no credit being granted. Arriving 10 minutes or more late will be treated as an absence. In cases of lateness or absence due to reasons not attributable to the student, make-up arrangements will be considered individually. For illness-related absences, make-up work will be provided only when a medical certificate is submitted.

Submission of all reports: Students must submit all the ten experiment reports and the one lecture report. Even if a report (or resubmission) is submitted late and therefore receives a score of zero, it is still possible to compensate in the total score by earning high scores on other reports. However, if any report is not submitted, credit will not be granted.
