Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 素材から製品を創出する生産プロセスの中で，製品性能に大きな影響を与える精密加工の基礎として，切削加工，砥粒加工および特殊加工について学習する．まず，これらの精密加工が生産プロセスおよび加工方法全体の中でどのように位置づけられるかを把握する．その後，切削加工，砥粒加工および特殊加工について，それぞれ簡明な理論や基礎的な機構，さらに実際の加工プロセスで生じる現象などについて学ぶ． |

Course Content | | 生産における精密加工の位置づけ，加工精度の歴史的変遷など
切削様式，切削理論（せん断面モデル，せん断角理論）
傾斜切削の影響，刃先丸みと切削抵抗の寸法効果
切削熱と切削温度，工具材種
工具損耗と寿命，仕上げ面性状と劣化要因
切りくず処理，切削油剤と快削添加物，旋削加工
フライス加工，びびり振動
研削加工（砥石，幾何学，研削時の各種現象，高精度化のための指針等）
遊離砥粒による加工（ラッピング，ポリッシング等）
特殊加工（放電加工、レーザ加工、電子ビーム加工等）
※配布する資料等に事前に目を通しておくこと．なお，講義内容は適宜修正される場合があることに留意せよ． |

Course Content | | Role of precision machining in manufacturing, historical evolution of machining accuracy
Cutting style, Chip-generation mechanism
Cutting theory (shear-plane model, shear angle the)
Cutting heat and cutting temperature, tool chipping/wear/life
Size effect of cutting force and its cause, chip type and its disposability
Surface roughness and its deterioration factors, cutting fluid and free-machining additives
Practical cutting (oblique cutting, turning)
Grinding (grinding wheel, geometry, phenomena during grinding, principles for high accuracy, etc.)
Free abrasive machining (lapping, polishing, etc.)
Non-traditional machining (electrical discharge machining, laser machining, electron beam machining, etc.)

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 期末テスト（状況によっては複数回のレポート）に基づき，目標達成度を評価する．
100点満点で60点以上を合格とし，A～Fを評価する． |
