授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | The purpose of this class is to deepen the understanding of the advanced electrical, electronic and information engineering. This class discusses the fundamentals and current topics with an overview of the status of their researches and developments in Japan. Topics to be introduced are those related with energy, material and device, information and communication, multimedia and so on.
Students will be familiar with the most advanced technologies in the above subject matter. |

授業の内容【日本語】 Course Content | | 1. 電気電子情報工学科教員による講義:7回
2. 学内施設等への見学:2回 講義では、電気・電子・情報通信の各分野の教員から、最新の研究トピックの解説がされる。見学では、エネルギー技術や材料技術などに関する関係施設を訪問する。
各講義・見学の後、レポートの提出が課される。 |

授業の内容【英語】 Course Content | | This course consists of two parts:
1: Lectures by faculty members of the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering: 7 sessions
2: Visits to on-campus facilities and related sites: 2 sessions
In the lectures, faculty members from the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and information and communications will provide explanations of recent research topics. During the visits, students will tour facilities related to energy technologies, materials technologies, and other relevant areas.
A report is required after each lecture and visit. |

成績評価の方法と基準【英語】 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | Submission of a report after each lecture and tour is mandatory. A knowledge of lectured advanced technologies in electrical, electronic and information engineering is evaluated by the reports. The final score is determined based on scores of these reports. Students must obtain a score of 60 or higher out of 100 to pass the course.
Grading by Reports.

A+:100-95, A:94-85, B:84-75, C:74-65, C-:65-60, F: 59

履修条件・注意事項【日本語】 Course Prerequisites / Notes | | | 授業は3~4限に割り振られているが、見学の終了は16:15以降になる 可能性がある。全ての講義・見学に出席し、無断での見学への欠席はしないこと。 教員への質問はNUCTのメッセージ機能により行うこと。各回で担当する教員が異なることに注意すること。 |

履修条件・注意事項【英語】 Course Prerequisites / Notes | | | The class is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th periods; however, the observation may end after 16:15. Students are required to attend all lectures and observation sessions, and unauthorized absence from any observation is not permitted. Questions to instructors should be submitted using the NUCT messaging system. Please note that the instructor in charge may differ for each session. |
