Goals of the Course(JPN)
【初級】この授業は、日本語を勉強したことのない学生、あるいは少ししか学習したことのない学生を対象とする。日本での日常生活を送るために基本的なレベルの日本語の能力を養成することを目的とする。

【中級】初級中盤終了、初級終了の学生を対象に、各自のこれまでの経験、出来事をより具体的に説明することができるようにする。

【Elementary Class】　 This course is intended for students who have not studied Japanese before or who have studied only a little.　Students will learn basic Japanese necessary for daily life in Japan.


【Intermediate Class】　This course is intended for students who have completed the elementary level of Japanese. The aim of this course is to develop the ability to describe their experiences and events in greater detail.

【初級】　初歩的な文法、表現を学び、日本で生活を送るために必要な簡単な会話ができるようにする。

【中級】　日本人と日常的会話ができるようになること。授業では日本語での会話が求められる。　ただし、学習歴に応じて、中上級、上級内容に変更する場合がある。

Objectives of the Course
【Elementary Class】　 Students will study basic grammar and fundamental expressions and will be able to engage in simple conversations necessary for daily life in Japan. Students are expected to communicate in daily life using simple expressions.

【Intermediate Class】　Students will be able to have daily conversations with Japanese speakers.Students are expected to communicate in Japanese during class. .Depending on students’Japanese proficiency, upper-intermediate or advanced-level content may also be introduced.

【Elementary Class】1. Japanese pronunciation, 2. Sentence structure in Japanese, 3. Basic vocabulary and expressions, 4. Conversation practice, 5. Listening practice.

【Intermediate Class】1. Grammar, 2. Conversation, 3. Expressing opinions and giving reasons, 4. Reading comprehension, 5. Listening practice.
成績評価の方法と基準【日本語】
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
【初級】クラスパフォーマンス２０％、課題提出２０％、インタビューテスト及び筆記試験３０％、日本語プレゼンテーション３０％の割合で評価する．各評価項目については，簡単な会話ができるか否かが重要なチェックポイントとなる．

【中級】クラスパフォーマンス20％、課題提出10％、口頭表現10％、筆記試験30％、日本語プレゼンテーション30％。各評価項目については、正確な会話表現ができるか否かが重要なチェックポイントとなる。

上記割合で得た点数を総和し、評点C-以上を合格とする。

【Elementary Class】Class performance 20％，　Assignments 20％，　Interview test and written examination　30％, 　Presentation 30％．　

For each item, the ability to engage in simple conversation is an important checkpoint.

【Intermediate Class】Class performance 20％，　Assignments 10％，　Interview test 10％，Written examination　30％, 　Presentation 30％.

For each item, the ability to use accurate expressions in conversation is an important checkpoint.

These scores are summed and evaluated. The students with the evaluation A+, A, B, C or C- can pass the course.
