植物と土壌の相互作用によって形成される地下環境を対象に、斜面から流域スケールに至る物質移動を通して、地下環境における物質循環の「場」と「プロセス」、ならびにその背景となるならびにそれらと地球環境変動との関係性を理解する。

Goals of the Course

This course focuses on subsurface environments formed by plant–soil interactions and aims to develop an understanding of the “settings” and “processes” of material cycling in subsurface environments through material transport from slope to watershed scales, as well as their relationships with global environmental change.

植物―土壌相互作用および斜面・流域スケールの物質移動を通して、森林生態系における物質循環をプロセスに基づいて説明できるようになることを目標とする。

The goal of this course is to enable students to explain material cycling in forest ecosystems based on underlying processes, through an understanding of plant–soil interactions and material transport from slope to watershed scales.
