Goals of the Course(JPN)
私たちは、個人と社会の相互作用の中で生きている。その複雑なプロセスを支える認知基盤とはどのようなものだろうか。本講義では、社会関係の維持、信じること、協力や敵対といった、文化や時代を超えて見られる行動様式を、認知科学の観点から解説する。人間行動を認知科学的に理解するための基本的な考え方と、その学際的な広がりを理解することを目的とする。

Goals of the Course
We live within the dynamic interplay between individuals and society. What cognitive foundations enable this profoundly intricate process? In this lecture, we will examine, from a cognitive science perspective, behavioral patterns that persist across cultures and historical periods—such as the maintenance of social relationships, belief, cooperation, and conflict. The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the goals and interdisciplinary nature of studying human behavior through cognitive science.

本講義を通じて、学生は以下の学習目標の達成が期待される。
（1）認知科学の目標およびその学際性について説明できる。
（2）認知科学における多様な研究分野の方法論について概観できる。
（3）人間の行動を理解するにあたり、仕組み・機能・発達・進化などの多様な視点をもつことができる。
（4）人間の行動に関する疑問や問いを見出すことができる。

By the end of this course, students are expected to be able to:
(1) Explain the goals and interdisciplinary nature of cognitive science.
(2) Provide an overview of methodologies across different research fields within cognitive science.
(3) Apply diverse perspectives—including mechanisms, functions, development, and evolution—when considering human behavior.
(4) Formulate their own questions about human behavior.
