授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | この授業は日本語と英語の両方で実施します。
Both English and Japanese are used in this course.
母語話者や第二言語学習者の言語知識を測定する方法として、文法性判断課題や容認性判断課題はよく用いられます。この講義では、判断課題にはどのような方法論的バリエーションがあり、測定しようとしている言語知識や言語能力にはどのような構成概念がふくまれるか、また、収集したデータをどのように分析したらよいかについて学びます。受講生は、ミニプロジェクトとして独自の判断データを収集・分析し、レポートにまとめることが求められます。
本講義ではテキストとしてSpinner & Gass (2019)を使用し、以下のように授業を構成します。
1. Introduction. Definitio of grammaticality and acceptability judgments and their underlying constructs.
2. Judgments in second language.
3. SLA theories and judgement data 1: formal approaches, usage-based theory, skill acquisition theory, input processing theory, processability theory, interactionist approaches, sociocultural theory.
4. SLA theories and judgement data 2: input processing theory, processability theory, interactionist approaches, sociocultural theory.
5. Research designs using judgment tasks
6. Variations on judgment tasks: intepretation tasks, pragmatic tasks, preference tasks, error correction tasks, multiple-choice tasks.
7. Mini project ideas and discussion
8. Analyzing judgment data 1
9. Analyzing judgment data 2: Hands-on activity using examples

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 授業への貢献度合い３０％、レポート７０％。
総点で評価し、100点満点中60点以上を合格とする。
レポートについては、授業で扱った内容について正しく理解し、独自のデータを収集・分析していることを合格の基準とする。 |
