By the end of this course, students will be able to (1) understand the basic concepts and methodologies of experimental research, (2) explain key considerations in designing experiments, (3) select appropriate experimental methods for specific research questions, and (4) identify practical and ethical issues involved in conducting experiments with human participants. |

履修条件・関連する科目 Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | Because the lectures will be conducted in English, it is important that students have a good command of English. A background in linguistics, psychology, statistics, and/or a related discipline in cognitive science is recommended but not required. |

成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | In-class contribution (30%), final exam (70%) If students miss five lectures, they will be officially considered "W." To pass, students must earn 60 points in total. |
