Goals of the Course(JPN)
本授業では、高等教育領域を学術的に探究する際に身に着けることが望ましい知識や技術を学ぶことを第一の目的とします。具体的には、まずリサーチクエスチョン（RQ）の立て方について学びます。ここでは、本質的な「問い」の特徴を理解することを中心とします。次にMarginson.S.(2022）等編著のChanging Higher Education in East Asiaによる東アジアの高等教育を題材にして現代の大学教育を学びます。参加者の学び合いや、関連する論文や書籍の読み合わせおよび演習を通じて理解を深めます。

Goals of the Course
The primary objective of this course is to learn the knowledge and skills desirable for academically exploring the field of higher education. Specifically, we will first learn how to formulate research questions (RQs) and address issues, focusing on understanding the characteristics of essential “questions.” Next, using Changing Higher Education in East Asia edited by Marginson, S. (2022) et al., we will study contemporary university education through the lens of higher education in East Asia. Participants will deepen their understanding through collaborative learning, reading and discussing relevant papers and books, and exercises.

・東アジアの高等教育における主要な動向と課題を説明できる
・高等教育分野の文脈に根ざした学術成果の性質を説明できる

Through this course, students will be able to
・Explain the key characteristics of well-formulated research questions (RQs) in the field of higher education.
・Explain major trends and challenges in higher education in East Asia.
・Explain the nature of academic outputs that are contextually grounded in the field of higher education.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
次のような構成を予定しています。
詳細なシラバスは授業初回に配布します。

①オリエンテーション：詳細なシラバスを配布し、演習の方法を説明します

②リサーチクエスチョン（RQ）について：現代のRQの特徴や課題を学びます。教材としては、以下の書籍を予定しています
マッツ アルヴェッソン, ヨルゲン サンドバーグ, 佐藤 郁哉 (翻訳)(2024）「面白くて刺激的な論文のためのリサーチクエスチョンの作り方と育て方　第2版」

③Marginson.S.(2022）等編著「Changing Higher Education in East Asia」を通じて東アジアの高等教育を学びます

以下のようなパートから複数章を購読します。
Part I: Higher Education and the Global Common Good
Part II: Internationalisation and Endogenisation, Regionalisation and Globalisation
Part III: International Mobility and Academic Migration

④課題発表：履修生は準備した課題を発表し互いに講評します

⑤まとめ：授業をふりかえり、総括します

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
100点満点で、「授業への参加」50点、「課題発表」50点で配分し、合計で60点以上を合格とします。授業への参加はミニッツペーパー（MP）で評価します。

主要テキストは主に以下を予定しますが、受講生の興味関⼼や授業の進捗に応じて変更する可能性があります。授業で使うテキストは各回の授業前に講義資料（PDF）として配付します。
