特に省エネルギー計算に関し，ハードウェア，ソフトウェアに関するアーキテクチャ，近似計算アルゴリズム，光コンピューティング等に関し講述する。

〔計画〕
1. 序論（省エネルギー計算のアーキテクチャ概論）
2. 次世代DRAMアーキテクチャ
3. 近似乗算アルゴリズムと近似乗算器アーキテクチャ
4. 近似関数および疑似関数を活用するトランスフォーマモデル
5. 光コンピューティングアーキテクチャ概論
6. 光コンピューティングの光ファイバ通信への応用

講義中および授業時間外に与える演習課題の評価１００％。合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。講義内容に関する技術的課題について説明・応用できることを基準とする。
