Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 本授業は、再生可能エネルギー施設の立地や再生可能エネルギーの利用促進をめぐる社会的課題を体系的に理解し、再生可能エネルギー分野の最前線で活躍する専門家による講義を通じて、理論と実務の双方の視点から、環境・社会・経済の調和を実現するための考え方を修得することを目的とする。とりわけ、地域での合意形成、環境保全、地域にとっての合理性といった複合的課題に直面する再生可能エネルギー事業について、地域共生型の事業モデルや実践的アプローチを多角的に考察する。

Goals of the Course | | This course examines the social challenges associated with the siting of renewable energy facilities and the promotion of renewable energy use. Drawing on lectures by practitioners and experts at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, the course integrates theoretical and practical perspectives to explore how environmental, social, and economic objectives can be balanced. Particular attention is given to renewable energy projects facing complex issues such as community engagement, environmental protection, and local viability, with an emphasis on community-based project models and practical approaches.

Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | | 本授業の履修を通じて、社会的公正、配分的正義、地域便益といった環境社会学の視点から、再エネ事業の導入問題を構造的に理解し、脱炭素社会を実現するための方法を検討する能力を身につけることができる。あわせて、社会的受容、科学の不確実性、リスクコミュニケーションなど、環境社会学と科学技術社会論における基礎的概念を修得することができる。 |

・Explain key concepts in environmental sociology and science and technology studies, including social acceptance, scientific uncertainty, and risk communication. |

Course Content / Plan | | 本授業は、行政、エネルギー事業者、地域で活動する団体等に所属する外部講師によるオムニバス形式で実施し、再生可能エネルギー事業を「地域への導入」「地域との関係構築」「再エネの利用・展開」という段階的視点から体系的に学ぶ。主に下記のテーマを取り上げる。
・社会的受容
・景観と自然環境への配慮
・市民風車
・産業クラスター
・地域経済効果
・地域脱炭素
・地域新電力
・エネルギー協同組合 | This course is offered in an omnibus lecture format, featuring guest speakers from government agencies, energy companies, and community-based organizations. Renewable energy projects are examined from a staged perspective, including local implementation, relationship building with communities, and the utilization and expansion of renewable energy.
