Goals of the Course(JPN)
　階級・階層構造は，社会的資源の不平等な配分から生じ，人間行動を理解・説明するうえで有力な手がかりになる．現代社会では労働市場や雇用関係，家族，人口構造などが変化しつつあり，これを視野に入れなくては階層現象を解読することはできない．本科目ではこうした変化を視野に入れながら，現代社会の階層現象や労働現象について検討をおこない，社会学的発想力・応用力・総合力を高める．

The goal of this course is to learn the notions and theories of social class, labor market and employment relations in order to explain complex causal relationships between social structure, social consciousness and social action.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
グローバル化が進むなかで，雇用関係の変化や柔軟性の高まり，女性や高齢者の労働力化，移民労働力の流入，経済格差の拡大などが見られ，先進社会の階層構造は変化しつつある．この授業ではこうした変化に関する最新の研究を取り上げて多面的に検討する．参加者は文献報告・個人研究報告をおこなう．文献の予習と自身の報告に際しては長時間の自宅学習が必要となるため留意すること．
It is becoming apparant that globalization process and its associated forms of economic change tend to widen the gap between the wealthy and poor, stimulating the growth of casual labour force or immigrant labour market in larger cities especially in advanced industrialized countries. This course examines the latest research on these changes from multiple perspectives.

学部専攻レベルの社会学概論や社会調査関連科目の知識を習得していることが履修の前提として必要になる．
Students are required to have taken courses of basic sociology, social research method at undergraduate level.
