授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 本講義では、現代のグローバル社会および日本国内において深刻化する、食料安全保障、気候変動に伴う環境問題、農業従事者の高齢化・労働者不足といった「食と農」をめぐる複雑な社会問題を理解するとともに、それらの解決に向けたイノベーション創出の手法を学ぶ。特に、最先端のアグテック（AgTech）やスタートアップのビジネスモデルに着目し、JA愛知信連、AgVenture Lab、愛知県農業総合試験場、名古屋大学発スタートアップ企業等との連携を通じて、農業・アグリテック・スタートアップに関する実践的な知識を修得する。さらに、受講生は、社会課題の発見から事業アイデアの構築、事業計画の策定、プレゼンテーションに至る一連のプロセスを体験的に学ぶことで、日本の農業の未来を支える新規事業の立案・事業化を担う基礎的能力を養う。なお、本講義は、名古屋大学とJA愛知信連との協定に基づく「食・農に関する教育連携企画」として実施する。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course | | This course aims to help students understand the complex social challenges surrounding food and agriculture that are becoming increasingly serious both globally and within Japan, including food security, environmental issues associated with climate change, and the aging agricultural workforce coupled with labor shortages. Students will learn methods for creating innovations to address these challenges.
Particular emphasis will be placed on cutting-edge agricultural technologies (AgTech) and startup business models. Through collaboration with JA Aichi Shinren, AgVenture Lab, the Aichi Agricultural Research Center, and startup companies originating from Nagoya University, students will acquire practical knowledge of agriculture, agritech, and entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, students will gain hands-on experience with the entire process of venture creation—from identifying social challenges and developing business ideas to formulating business plans and delivering presentations. Through these activities, students will develop fundamental competencies for planning and commercializing new businesses that can contribute to the future of Japanese agriculture.
This course is offered as part of the “Educational Collaboration Program on Food and Agriculture,” established under the partnership agreement between Nagoya University and JA Aichi Shinren. |

Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | | 受講生は少人数のグループを編成し、アグテックを活用した農業課題解決型の事業アイデアについて検討を行う。第１段階では、社会課題や起業事例に関する講義を通じて、事業アイデアおよび事業計画の基礎を構築する。第2段階では、アカデミア、愛知県農業総合試験場、スタートアップ企業等へのヒアリングを通じて事業計画のブラッシュアップを行う。最終段階では、各グループが事業計画を発表し、提案内容について議論を行う。これらのアクティブラーニングを通して、農業分野における社会課題を理解し、ハイレベルの事業構想力、課題解決力、およびプレゼンテーション能力を身につける。これらを通じて、学生自身が当事者意識を持って社会課題に切り込む起業家精神（アントレプレナーシップ）の醸成と、実践的なビジネスプラン構築スキルの習得を目指す。 |

到達目標【英語】
Objectives of the Course | | In the first phase, students will build a foundation in business ideation and business planning through lectures on social issues, entrepreneurship, and startup case studies. In the second phase, students will refine their business plans through interviews and discussions with academic researchers, specialists at the Aichi Agricultural Research Center, startup companies, and other relevant stakeholders. In the final phase, each group will present its business plan and engage in discussions and evaluations of the proposed ideas.
Through these active-learning activities, students will develop a deep understanding of social challenges in agriculture and acquire advanced skills in business design, problem solving, and presentation. The course also aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset that empowers students to proactively tackle societal challenges while equipping them with practical skills for developing viable business plans. |
