Goals of the Course | | In this seminar each student is required to learn the theories and perspectives of sociology that addres gender issue, the theory which explain the complex relation between social structure and social action. This seminar aims to enhance participants' autonomous and practical research capabilities to advance their doctoral research.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 【授業の構成】日本語と英文の関連基本文献を精読し、討論する。社会学研究におけるインターセクショナリティについて考察する文献を扱う。参加者各自の研究テーマに関する自由報告の機会を設け、専門論文と博士論文作成のため研究の方向づけをおこなう。
【履修条件・関連する科目】修士課程卒業レベルの社会学の知識が履修の前提になる。
【授業時間外学習の指示】文献の予習の他に、自身の報告に際しては長時間の自宅学習が必要になるので留意すること。
また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。 | In this seminar we read and interpret English/Japanese literature on intersectionality in sociology. To develop research skills and thereafter to prepare for doctoral thesis, active involvement is appreciated and opportunities provided to discuss each participant's research theme.
All participant are required to have knowledge of sociology equivalent to a master's degree in the major field of study.
In addition to preparing the literature review, note that your own presentation will require extended periods of self-study at home.
All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar. |
